I entered the field of health coaching after my own battle with with several autoimmune conditions including Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. On my journey to healing, I discovered Functional Medicine through a local practitioner. This discovery taught me how to rebalance my body by adjusting diet and lifestyle.

As a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I draw on my own healing experience and training from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy to work with clients to get to the root cause of why they feel the way they do and to guide them in making changes for more health and vitality. Clients I have worked with have improved or eliminated autoimmune symptoms, healed from fatty liver disease, lowered blood pressure, eliminated medications for various diseases and regained energy. I really enjoy watching the transformation as my clients begin to feel better and embrace a new lifestyle. My goal is to help my clients discover the power within themselves to regain control of their health and feel as good as they possibly can.

My training at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy taught me to meet each person where they are on their wellness journey. With that in mind, there's no one "set" approach that works for everyone. I am familiar with many different ways of using targeted nutrition that will support an individual's health - no one food plan works for everyone. When a client chooses to work with me, they can expect that we will look at not only food and exercise, but other factors in their lives that may influence their health like stress, sleep, toxins and relationships. Additionally, my training with FMCA taught me how to partner with Functional Medicine practitioners as I understand their language, tools, labs tests and protocols and can help support the patient with following through with treatment plans.

I am blessed to now be living nearly symptom-free and take pleasure in enjoying time with family, hiking, gardening, biking, travel, reading and meditation. My friends know that while I am strict with my diet I do also enjoy an occasional glass of good red wine too!
